Why, oh why, oh why wasn't this a project sermon? It captures what I'm trying to do this year as effectively as anything I've preached. In this sermon, I employ some pretty serious self-disclosure to facilitate the congregation's connection to a text from Exodus.
The sermon is based on Exodus 33:12-23, a story about Moses arguing with God. You read the manuscript here, or listen to it here (click on the link, then click again where it says "download"). The sermon starts at the 6:40 mark.
