On November 7, 2010, I preached the second sermon for my first year Doctor of Ministry project. It is drawn from 2 Thessalonians 2:1-5, 13-17. Since November is pledge time at Plymouth Church, I had to deal with stewardship as well. You can read the sermon manuscript here.

This sermon was shaped significantly by the work I did with Professor Chuck Campbell in his "20th Century Preaching: Theory and Practice." My final paper for that class may help to shed some light on what I am trying to do here, along with the reflection paper that I wrote after preaching it.
